Graduate Student
I graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2014 with a BS in Biochemistry. Currently, I am a Master’s student in the Pharmacology and Toxicology program here at UC Davis and my career goal is to improve the treatment of neuropathic pain. My thesis research focuses on understanding the connection between sympathetic neurons and dorsal root ganglion neurons in the context of neuropathic pain, and understanding the effects of the immune system on sympathetic neurons and dorsal root ganglion neurons in vitro. In my free time, I enjoy baking, decorating cakes, hiking and ice skating.
