Interactions between environmental pollutants and the autonomic nervous system may contribute to the risk of neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our lab has developed in vitro methods to examine the effects of environmental toxicants, such as PCB 95 (polychlorinated biphenyl 95), on dendritic growth. My research focuses on investigating the signaling pathways involved in exposure to these toxicants. In my free time I enjoy cooking food, hiking, and playing with dogs.
