Kelley Patten

Graduate Student

Hometown:

Sonoma, CA

Research Interests:

One of my fundamental scientific interests is to understand how environmental exposures influence health. My thesis project in the Lein lab is to examine the effects of chronic air pollution exposure on Alzheimer’s Disease and neuroinflammatory pathways. My long-term goal is to expand our understanding of the molecular mechanisms through which environmental factors affect neurodegenerative disease.

If not in lab, I’m most likely hiking.
