Bio: I grew up in the bay area in California, which is also where I had the privilege of attending my first Beyonce concert. My research interests involve the role environmental pollutants may be playing in the rise of neurodevelopmental disorders. I am investigating how polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) may be affecting neuronal development through in vitro and in vivo approaches looking at various morphological and biochemical endpoints. I also use in vivo models to imitate real world developmental exposure to PCBs and observe how the offspring's memory and behavior may change.
